As the creators of ActivityLog, Fission Software Development (“We”) are committed to protecting and respecting your privacy.

By visiting the ActivityLog Web Application or any of our other websites (“our site“) or downloading our mobile application software, the data supplied with the software and the associated media (“Application“) and online OR electronic documents (“Documents“) generated through the Application and/or provided to you via the Application or by utilising our services you are accepting and consenting to the practices described in this policy.

For the purpose of the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 (the Act), the operator is Fission Software Development CC. Our nominated Information Officer for the purpose of the Act is the appointed Group Head of Technology. In order to use Our Site, you or your Organisation will create an account with us on our platform. As part of the onboarding process, you or your Organisation will provide us with a list of Employees that require access. The following information is shared by your Organisation regarding its Employees:

  • Name
  • Surname
  • Email Address
  • Position in Organisation

We will register all the Employees under the Organisation which will result in emails being sent to the Employees to confirm registration. Each Employee must complete their registration by choosing a password. By completing this registration process, You have consented to this information being made available by your Organisation.

DATA DELETION
When you as an Employee, resign from your Organisation, we will receive an instruction from your Organisation to mark your account as "deleted". This prevents access or use of the Application by you but allows your Organisation to have a historical view of all their data.

When the Organisation signals the cancellation of our services, all data will be removed from our servers and handed over to the Organisation.

LEGAL NOTIFICATIONS
Often the law requires Us to advise You of certain changes to products or services or laws. We may need to inform You of changes to the terms of the features of Our products or services. We need to process Your personal information to send you these legal notifications.
